As this web editor talks to former Blagen Mill employees, they seem to always speak of Ed Adams as a man and mill superintendent they liked and respected. We’re fortunate to have gotten a lot of history and photos of Ed and his family. In addition to the photos, I’ve included text that gives us more insight into the history.
This the back of the next photo
Ed, Georgie, and Buster
Ed and Georgie
The caption said, “Ed and Grandmother”. Not sure whose grandmother, but probably not Ed’s.
Note from the picture donors, who, as you can see, were Ed’s Great Nephews
Ed and his uncle, Gene Callistra

When you click on this photo, you get a larger view. Most browsers will then show your cursor as a magnifier, and clicking again with it, will give you a nice large photo. Try it.
Note about Ed’s father.
Mill closed in 1962, so Ed was somewhere else after that.
