On Sept. 3rd 2016, we held our annual Labor Day weekend event. It was a huge success with lots of visitors, great weather, awe-inspiring competition, delicious food, and much much more.To go directly to the photos click here. Our great friend and accomplished photographer, Cindy Micheli, came through for us again with photos that tell the story better than words ever could.

I wonder if you might help me. I am needing the name of the wonderful lady, who gave us such a great tour of the museum two years ago. I believe her to be the widow of the gentleman responsible for establishing the museum. I have lost my notes on our visit there, and am embarrassed to say that I cannot recall her name, let alone all she told us. In studying the website, I can gather a lot of what I lost, but I would really like to thank her once again for her attention. Each time I look at the picture I took of her, I think I should be able to come up with her name, No such luck! I would appreciate any help you can offer.
Thank you in advance!

Hi, Pat….I appreciate your reply, but unfortunately all that opened was “sent from my iPhone”. I fail to see a message. Hmmmm. I did send a message via “contact us”, while I realize the museum is closed for the season, I remain hopeful that my request will give me the information I am seeking. Thanks so much for trying to help me! We will never forget this fine lady, and the ways in which she educated us as to the history of the logging museum, and that wonderful Shay. I am an HO RR modeler, and so wish I could obtain a model of THAT loco!
. Thanks, Marion
