2006 Logging Jamboree

2006 LOGGING JAMBOREE

The 11th annual Logging Jamboree was held on Labor Day weekend, September 2nd and 3rd entirely on the 6 acre Museum property for the first time. Hundreds of people enjoyed the activities around the newly constructed amphitheater which held the logging competition this year.

There were plenty of non-profit and civic groups to occupy the attention of the large crowds, although this year we didn’t have the craft vendors. Activities included children’s games, three live musician groups, and the display of the large equipment which included the Shay locomotive.

Look for the return of the 2007 Logging Jamboree next Labor Day weekend.
