We present here some wonderful photos of logging operations from many years ago in Amador County. At this point, we have no history, just the photos.
It’s apparent that this photo is not from the Tiger Creek operation. However, it is Amador County and interesting.

I have been researching information about my families that lived in Sierra Valley from 1850 to present?? I would like to know if their is any records of logging camp ,in 1930s ,at Walker Mines. The camp belonged to Charley Campbell. He also had a Mill at Slote, And a Camp about 1932, on mountain south of Sierraville. Can you help me with my search.
Charley Campbell was my gr-gr-Uncle,and brother James Hale Campbell of Beckwith(Beckwith Mercantillle,1900).

A lady came into the museum today and was asking about a specific person in Sierra Valley. I told her about your request and she said that the museum in Loyalton has a great deal of history dating back to the gold rush.
